Vandalism in Rome ........ Check this out, really stupid people

looks like it will cost them a pretty penny!
if this was in Singapore they would have earned a nice caning...Michael Fay knows oh too well about that punishment
 
I didn't want to start a new thread so this one is the closest I could find. When Stan and I were hiking the S. Kaibab trail last week someone had made a rock formation and carved into the stone, then carved their name into the sandstone on Cedar Ridge (arrogance and stupidity combined). I took a picture of the name, figuring the NPS already knew about it, but I just called them to be sure and they didn't. I forwarded this shot to them. Wish I'd taken a picture of the viewpoint as well, but it's so large they won't have trouble finding it. Tourist season has started and the idiots are out in force. :facepalm:
