The first weekend in august seems to be my time to disappear for a few days, this year has been a bit of a challenge for me to get someone to go (wife doesn't like me going alone). I originally had planned on my brother and I spending a couple days around fox lake but he bailed on me a couple weeks ago. I called on my highline trail hiking partner to see if he would be able to go and after some scheduling with his work its a go!!
I am now unsure exactly where I would prefer to go, it is a decision between leaving friday afternoon and heading into Carolyn lake then from there going over to the Jack and Jills to tool around for a couple days. Other option is still leaving Friday afternoon but heading to the Henry's fork trail head and going for the red castle kings peak loop. My problem is we have to be back Monday at some point so would that leave enough time for the red castle kings peak loop or would it be a rushed trip? I want to enjoy the trip not just burn through it.
