Tokina 11-16 f2.8 or Nikon 10-24 f4?

I finally saved enough money to get a good wide angle lens for landscapes, problem is I can't decide which way to go. The Tokina is about $200 less than the Nikon and has a rebate going on now and by all accounts a great lens. I am a little sceptical of going with something other than a Nikon. Any opinions?

I'm a Canon guy and I like the Canon 10-22 better than the Tokina. But with that said, I really like the Tokina and if it were up against a 10-24 at f4, I'd go Toki. Your review, and the work from summit is what got me looking at the Tokina in the first place. In the past I have purchased only Nikon.
