I only keep track in Feb. Sounds wierd, I'm sure. But a few years ago, I decided to make sure I walked at least 100 miles in the month of Feb. and I've been doing it ever since. I count both my usual afternoon walks around the neighborhood (3-5 miles, 4-6 days a week) and any hiking I'm able to do for the month. Can't remember the exact number but I ended up closer to 120 miles in Feb. last year.

I kept track of my hiking miles last year and wanted to see if it is possible to hike more than 500 miles with a busy university schedule. I ended up with 604 miles.
This year I have an extremely show start.

In January I only hiked 18 miles.

Man I don't even like to think about that. I walk about 5 miles in a 6hr shift at work. Last year I worked about 1500hrs. Last year I hiked (not sure on exact mileage), commuted by bike all summer and September, rowed a bit during the summer, didn't swim much but that'll change this summer since I'll have a pool at my apartments.

This year has not been so great so far anatomy and my other 9 credits are keeping me in the library more than I would like to admit. At least I get to walk around at work.

Nice! I didn't know about this thread until I saw it on the bag night challenge. I've been keeping track of my total miles hiked each year for the last three years. Each year I've hiked more than the year before. I'm not sure if that will be the case this year, since I've had a lot come up both at work and at home to keep me busy. So far I've hiked 196 miles this year.

Dont know if work counts, but I average about 2-3 miles a night at work, I start off with a full 3L camelbak at the begining of shift, then usually get in a lil extra geocaching in the middle of the night after I get off work. This year I have barely rode my bike and I dont have a boat of any form yet (planning on changing that ASAP). So going with the lower work related milage, I have "hiked" about 51.71 miles this year not includeing what I do geocaching and this past weekend camping.
