Tensegrity 2 Elite

I got a new toy in the mail today, the Sierra Designs Tensegrity 2 Elite. I'm calling it the victory tent for the fact that I won't be spending the rest of the year recovering from yet another knee surgery. Gearing up to get back into backpacking mode!

Anyone have any experience with these? I first saw it at the OR show last year and it was love at first sight. 2lb 3oz for the 2-man with some super roomy storm watching goodness. Excited to break it in this weekend.

It's huge! What an interesting design.

Yeah, I love that huge awning and the ability to pitch it out in different ways. Reminds me of the things I loved about my old MSR Missing LInk but hopefully without the things I hated.

I think it is a fantastic design, and the weight is incredible.

That wind tunnel test is too cool. I wish every tent maker tested their tents like that.

It'd be fun it they added some water to that test.
