Steve Allen's Lower Harris Wash hike - part 1

1) from Allen Dump down to the rim of Harris Wash - anyone have experience doing this? what is it like?

2) descent into Harris Wash - SA describes it as Class 3+. Is there an easier way into Harris Wash closer to the Harris Wash road - e.g., by the first major side canyon on the right (ldc)? or?

I've gone dropped down to the Escalante River just downstream of the Harris Wash outlet as approached from the W rim There's a use trail, which you can see in satellite view.

I may have been too terse. I'm curious about an alternative to the route described by Steve Allen in part 1 of his Lower Harris Wash hike. From the Allen dump, that route goes over/around 5728T, marked D on my attached map and drops into Harris Wash by C on my attached map. I'm curious if the area around B is an easier way to get up/down from Harris Wash's south rim. A on my map is near the parking area at ~ mile 6 of the Harris Wash road
