Price River (Utah) Packrafting @200cfs From Woodside to Swasey Beach

2 day packrafting trip on the Price. We have been wanting to do this one for a while now, but it never has enough water. Class 4 cow avoidance.

I"m not a whitewater person, but that looks like fun, throw in beer, cows and what appears to be great weather and I'll bet that was a great trip.

That is bad ass. Is it just running that high from runoff right now or did you time a surge? I think I read somewhere the someone took an actual raft down that once.

I think it was an early runoff before they started taking water for irrigation. It had been teetering around 200cfs for a week so we decided to give it a go cause it probably wouldn't get any higher.

I ran this with some friends in IKs maybe 10 years ago. I don't remember what the flow was. It must have been lower because I don't think it was class IV for us. And we didn't have to avoid any cows! Haha.
