Early season access, decent fishing, solitude, and close proximity to the Uinta crest are some of Potter Lake's draws.
The most straightforward route to Potter Lake is gained from near Browne Lake (40.862771,-109.821911), which is accessed via a network of National Forest roads off of US-191. The final stretch to the trailhead lies on gravel roads, but is 2WD-friendly.
