October in the Uintas

Anyone have much experience near the Bald Mtn and Crystal Lake trailheads in October? It looks like the overnight lows on Thursday will be pleasant enough but I'm more concerned about how many hunters to expect in the area.

I don't think the general rifle deer hunt starts until Saturday so I don't think it could be very bad before that.

The Uintas are wonderful in October. And November, December, ... you get the idea. The only days I stay home are the general deer opener which is this weekend as Nick points out.
