So I am going to spend two days hiking in the New Mexico badlands and I have identified three areas: Bisti, Ah-Shi-Sle-Pah and Lybrook badlands. I am definitely doing Bisti, but I am undecided on which of the other two. I would prefer an area different from Bisti, for variety. So far, I have read that Lybrook has by far the tallest hoodoos, Ah-Shi-Sle-Pah has lots of petrified wood and a couple of nice hoodoo formations. Any feedback to help me make the decision ?

We have done a lot of both the Bisti/De-na Zin and Ah-Shi-Sle-Pah. You can't go wrong, they are amazing. Have fun and be ready to explore as there are no trails.
