New from Georgia

Hey y'all I'm from ga and just got into backpacking. I mostly do day hikes to and from fishing holes and to find hunting spots. I joined to because I wanna get into making multi day trips and hoping to pick y'all's brains on some ideas.

I'm from central georgia. But I'm in school right now.

Cool. I'm originally from Florida, although I've been out west for 10 years now. I used to hunt up near Macon.

I also used to spend time backpacking the Smokies. Quite a bit actually, although I haven't been up there since 2008. Love that NE corner of Georgia, along with the Tennessee/North Carolina Mountains.

In high school I pretty much lived near the hiwassee river and the john muir trail that's right next to it because I had family up there and those experiences probably got me into backpacking/hiking
