Mystery Canyon conditions, September 2012

Just arrived in Zion and found out from our neighbors here in Watchman that Mystery canyon is very full of water and debris from all the flooding. The landslide lake is a long swim filled with debris and the surroundings are apparently very muddy and nasty. We'll be doing it on Sunday and I'll post some pics. Sounds like fun though! I might actually pack my wetsuit!

Thx for the update. I will take mine as I chill easily. Kinda looking forward to seeing the landslide area filled with water. Last and only time through it was bone dry.

I saw some people at the base of the waterfall this evening, they were struggling getting their rope down.
