My Intro

So it's been about a year and a half since I've registered here, and figured I better post up in here before I commented in another thread. I found out about this site through a sticker on the back of my Dad's truck after a hike last Spring. If he sees my intro thread, maybe he'll post up, or maybe he wont.

I work heavily in the outdoors from mid April to late October, typically getting 100+ nights in a sleeping bag. I abuse my gear, but it's all in the name of a great job. I see plenty of beautiful areas on the clock, and try to get in a few trips while off the clock when I can.

Wild! Welcome and kudos to a backcountry firefighter. I've helped pull hose a little on a couple of local wildland fires. It is brutal hard and dangerous work. Thank you!
