We had the honor of floating from Potash to Spanish Bottom in September 2009. No wind or rain, and 50 miles of glass.
I thought I would share a few pics from that trip , with my wife and 2 friends.

I remember this section distinctly. It was so quiet, it was almost overwhelming. The sound of my shutter was so loud I had to put my camera down.

Another island camp site...

An unnamed side canyon I might explore this next trip.

The Doll House from Spanish Bottom, where we were picked up by jet boat.

We saw no one until we got to Spanish Bottom (except the jet boats a couple of times a day). I would say 7 boats came down the Green.

This was a perfect trip.

Oh man... beautiful shots, Greg. This was almost painful to read it looks so nice out there with the smooth water and sandy campsites. I NEED A BOAT!!!

Thanks Nick and pixie1339 for your comments.

That is a great stretch of river and your shots capture everything beautifully! I like the small group as well, it makes the trip that much nicer. I agree there are so many places to go and explore that it's just awesome. Thanks for sharing.

Salud!
