If they do the Henrys (I know highly unlikely) I wouldn't be able to resist.

It will be interesting to see how it will turn out with mountains that lack the nice circular shape of Hood and all the other volcanic peaks in the PNW.

I can think of a few I'd like (though they're not all mountains)

- lone peak
- the maze
- island in the sky
- half dome
- Lake Powell
- la sals

you know what would be cool, is one shaped like glen canyon, where you pour water INTO the canyon (kind of a reverse of this idea). Then you can see what it looks like at different water levels. Though you'd need a bathtub size glass for that.

Hey @Glasterpiece, sounds like there's a market around here for some geographically inspired glass art. You ever do anything like that?

At this time we are in the discussion stage of a 3D wall piece of the Grand Canyon. In full color and relief. Before I do anything like that I will recreate your emblem in a glass wall plaque(sp?). I haven't forgotten.

Here's a commission I did a few years back called "Canyonlands". The glass is 26" diameter and weighs 14 pounds.Canyonlands.jpg

An interactive computer model of that would be fun.

It will be tough if there any undercuts that would lock it into the mold.

That's beautiful. I'd still love the BCP cairn in glass, and I'd be happy to pay for it too. :)
I have a big deadline I'm working on for the next month. After that I will devote time to the cairn. The first one will be a gift. You know everybody will have to have one. ;)

BTW, not enough for a trip report but we explored that cinder cone west of I-15 at Fillmore today. Incredible lava flows.
