Maybird Gulch bridge is broken

Bent right in half!

Sorry, it was me... I knew I should have not eaten that moon pie.
You know, when I walked across it back in May it did not seem to be broken.

This is from where I assumed the bridge was:

anyone happen to know when that bridge was installed? I'm pretty sure it's the same one that has been there since 2000, when I started hiking in the SLC area

Always impressive to see that type of bridge broken that way since they're so thick and sturdy. Age plus a ton of snow sitting on it for months would do it though!

Not sure, but I know there was a bridge there in the mid 90s....
