Yesterday, Sunday, April 8th, was the end of the ski season for me. Many of the NY, MA, and VT areas are closed or will be closing soon (except Killington which expects to be open until early June). Conditions were excellent ... it was more like winter skiing rather than spring skiing. This ski area is just over the NY border in MA in the Bershires. Not quite what you westerners experience but fun for us northeasterners!!

Note the wind farm over to the right side of the photo. They are not connected to the ski area but this ski area does have their own windmill and generate much of their electric power this way.
