Probly most of you folks already know each other, but some of us are new and it would be nice for us to learn more about each other. Is there an appropriate thread, or should there be, for telling a little about yourself?

What does everyone think about the noobs thread? Should we make it its very own forum where each noob posts a new thread or just leave it as a thread in the general discussion that is ongoing? I kind of like the thread idea as years from now someone could scroll back through it and see when everyone joined.
