Hello all!
I live in Missouri City, just outside of Houston. I'm getting back into backpacking a little later in age (49). I'm a former Eagle Scout, and I'm having to relearn quite a bit of this; a lot has changed since I last 'packed, especially the gear options! I've done a few day hikes recently (10 miles and less), and caught the bug again.
Anyway, if you're in the Houston area, feel free to drop the names of some favorite spots!
