Hi there.
I've been reading through posts on here all day trying to plan a trip to the Sawtooth Mountains. I live in Wisconsin and my backpacking resume has so far been limited to the Midwest, primarily up near Lake Superior - Porcupine "Mountains," Pictured Rocks, Grand Island, etc. I've been day-hiking in more mountainous areas plenty of times, but this would be my first backpacking adventure in real mountain terrain. Anyway, I signed up to ask for advice on Sawtooth route planning so I'm going to head over to the Trip Planning forum and get started!
