I am looking for a backpack in the Uintas. I have hiked a lot there but only along the Mirror Lake Highway from Kamas to Mirror Lake and would like to do something different. Any suggestions out there for a Tuesday - Friday backpack? Areas that are weekend busy but less so on in the week?

It will be in early August also.

Welcome to BCP! How long do you want to hike? What are you into? (fishing, peak bagging, putting down lots of miles, etc.)

Here's a trip I did a couple years ago that's in the eastern uintas, Cleveland/Fox Lakes:

Or on the southern end starting at the Grandview TH the Grandaddy Lakes area or starting at Moon Lake the Brown Duck Basin.
Great... Now I have to go stare at some maps and wish it was summer
