Hello all! Born and raised on the west side of michigan right on the great lake. Been an avid outdoorsman for half my life and enjoy the "bushcrafty" side of things. Looking forward to getting into the world of long distance lightweight backpacking!

Welcome. I don't know much about bushcraft but it would be cool to see some trip reports from that perspective for variety.
 
I've always said some of the best backpacking in the Midwest is in Michigan. Have any favorites?
