Hello everyone. I am new to backpacking and found this site while I was researching information on backpacking in the Boulder Mountains of Utah. I love to fish and have fished a bit in the Boulder Mountains, Beaver, Sevier River, etc. I haven't actually done any overnight backpacking (just car camping), but I am hoping to do some local backpacking and then do a couple nights on Boulder Mountain hitting a few of the lakes.

I hiked up (with a guide) and fished Lost Lake last year, but it was a dud. I really needed to be able to fish first thing in the morning or in the evening.

Just looking to find (and share) information and maybe even meet others who might want to join up on trips.
