Hello to everyone!

It's great to join all the experienced community here! I have been visiting this site anonymously since 2012, when I visited United States for a first time. I had such a blast there, especially in souther Utah which I have fall in love immediately! Since then I am gathering all the great tips from the forum posts here for my future adventures - you are all doing a terrific job! Fortunately, I will be able to return to this harsh yet beautiful dreamland of Utah this September for a whole month...

Thank you folks for providing us with such inspirational content here for the outdoor life, which can make one travel thousands of miles just to experience the awe on his own! :)

Cheers,
Hubert

Welcome. I've been to your country twice, and love it. Especially the beer! Glad you are here.

Welcome Hubert! Your English is fantastic. I hope to visit your country someday.

Dan and Steve, thanks a lot for a warm welcome! As far as beer and city sightseeing, I believe that Czech republic is solid gold for every tourist/traveller, which is very hard to beat. Yet as we are such a small country, we don't have such vast areas of really wild environment as the United States. Hence, I really look forward to enjoing my stay in your country again. Every country is great in different aspects... :)

Welcome Hubert. I have a friend who lives in Slovakia, he hikes in the Tatra Mountains. I assume that's where you hike? Judging from the pictures he has sent me, it is beautiful out there.

Hi Vegan.Hiker, yes Slovakia is right next to our country and I have visited Tatra Mountains for many times. Slovakia is like my second home. It is really nice there for the backpacking trips. For a shorter day hikes, the Czech republic will do the job as well:)
