New Year and cold.... 10am. Minus 17. Last night minis 28..... !! 3 ft 10 in snow on the ground !!!

Had to drive around a closure on I84 due to a carjacking/high-speed chase/crash last night and the temp sensor in our van read -30. Had a flat tire and had to change it in a little town when it was -11. Thankfully one of Oregon's finest helped us out. Shout out to State Trooper Blood.

Happy New Year to everyone!

After 2,000 miles on I-40 this week, we did the final hike of 2021 with friends in NC on a record temperature day I was told. We were outside through midnight, it got down to 64F. We cannot remember ever sitting outside on New Years Eve.
