Grand Gulch (Bullet to Collins) One Car Recommendations

Planning on hiking Grand Gulch this spring, but as always my backpacking friends have backed out on permits... Looking to see if anyone has any recommendations for getting from the Bullet Canyon TH to Collins Canyon TH (or visa versa). My partner and I are planning on hiking east to west, though now trying to plan without a second car. Does anyone have any experience with hitching/shuttles in the area? Or do any of you fine folks live in the area and want to help out some future hiker trash. LMK!

Collins wasnt very popular years ago, hitching was spotty, had to wait for someone to come out to hopefully give a ride. It's a long way around to Bullet. May be easier to do a loop trip, cutting over the Plateau.
I'd call the BLM there ands ask, they may know.
