My wife and I went for a nice canoe paddle on the twisty, windy West Branch of the Sacandaga River this past Sunday under bluebird blue skies. Water was pretty high and the current fairly swift. In keeping with spring Adirondack conditions, the hordes of black flies joined us for much of the trip.

Looks serene! Things are finally warming up over here, so I could go for a trip on the water right about now.
