Easy campsite very close to Moab

I'm heading down to start our Maze via jetboat trip tomorrow and I need to figure out a campsite that I can get to late that is really, really close to Moab. We were originally thinking of camping just off the highway on the backroad into Arches but the more I think about it, the more I want to be closer. We have to be to the boat place at 7:30am and we'll all have to pack up our bags and stuff before heading out. Any ideas? Won't be arriving down there until late Thursday so would need to be able to locate in the dark and have a good chance of it not being full.

Willow Springs Road into Arches is probably the closest you are going to get. All other sites closer to town are paid and probably will be full.

that map is a good one, I use it each year to pick a campsite for me
