Down Pad Problem?

I borrowed my wife's Exped DownMat pad the other night at noticed that the edges of the pad were way thicker. My guess is that the down has shifted to the edges of the pad. (I didn't feel much down throughout the rest of the pad). Do you guys thing this is what happened? Has anyone else experienced this? (I tried to "shake" the down away from the edges towards the center with no luck). Thanks.

Give Exped an email and maybe a picture if you can. They have great customer service! I had problems with an internal baffle and they sent me a new one.
