There’s more snow on the ground right now than there was all of last winter…basically. I decided to go up Deuel Creek with Güch. We started up the North trailhead and then exited via the south.
It was a nice jaunt to start the winter season! The snow was deep in most places.

We made it to the rope swing and then it was time to turn tail. We only had a couple hours to hike and run errands.
We met Paul (who’d just spent the night up the canyon), Jeff, and Dayton. When I have more time I’ll shoe in to the waterfall or further.
This is the camp I call Sherwood. In Junior High and High School my friends and I would pack into this spot and spend 3 days paintballing and exploring. It always brings back memories every time I trod through there.
