This years weather here has been the pits. With another week of rain starting today, I decided to take a day trip down up the Rock River in southern Wisconsin. Hopefully there will be at least one more week of decent weather before it gets too cold. Didn't take a good camera with me but this is what my neck of the woods looks like.2014-08-27 16.16.20.jpg 20140826_175433.jpg 20140827_122848.jpg

Looks like the leaves are just starting to think about turning! Wisconsin's a beautiful state. It looks like you have a wheeled cart for your kayak in the last picture- do you like it? I go back and forth between small wheels (storeability) and big wheels (Portage-ability).

Leaves should start to turn in a few weeks. The cart does quite well in everything but soft sand. The cart that is made for the Sea Eagle has to be the worst cart on the market. Used it 3 times and knew I had to get something better. With this cart, anything over 5~8 pounds has to be to the front but other than that, no complaints. (except for the never ending rain this year)

This is the cart. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004GYYY1W/?tag=backcountrypo-20

This is the cart I wish I had bought. Since the pads can open flat, and the sea eagle floor is flat, I think it would work better.http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00K88PXZ6/?tag=backcountrypo-20
