The salt river range is spectacular! While i was up there me and my friend did an over night backpacking trip to place called lake Alice. Its only a little over a mile hike to the lake and then anywhere from 2 to 5 miles to the campsites. The lake is HUGE has some good fishing and is overall just a beautiful place. I highly recommend it if your thinking of backpacking up in that area.

That was one of the locations I was looking at going!

Did you end up doing Zero G? I've been wanting to check that one out.

yeah I've hiked zero g quite a few times. The lower section is a nice mellow hike up a scenic canyon which ends at a pool and a 100 ft cliff. To get to the top section make sure to go back and hike along the right side of the canyon a little bit after the cliff there is an entrance that allows you to hike all of the narrow section without any technical canyonering gear. If your gonna hike it make sure to go on a warm day the slot has some deep pools that are quite chilly.

Here's a few shots of Zero G and the surrounding area.I Think my friend the dunedain might of already posted some of my photos of the area in another thread.
