Colorado and LCR turbidity time

How long do the Colorado and Little Colorado stay brown after rain near the Grand Canyon? Hours, days, weeks?

It drains all the way to the White Mountains. In the spring If the falls on the Rez are flowing ...its going to be muddy. There is a gaging station about where the overlook is you can access data to see if its running there. I'd say a couple days after local rain, the mid section still drains a lot of area with minimal vegetation to hold it.
