Looking for info on the Clyde Lake Loop for a day hike tomorrow. All info is greatly appreciated.

I did it many years ago before I had a digital camera. It was September with a bad forecast so we had it to ourselves. Hiked it counter clockwise, camping two nights right between Twin Lakes. On our middle day, we fought through the rain and hiked up past Clyde, Three Divide and then down to Hidden. Caught nice, fat brookies with delicious pink meat out of Hidden. The last day we hiked overland just below Clyde and reconnected with the trail and down through the other lakes. Great route.

Thanks @Nick. I actually read about this on KSL today and noticed that several people on BCP had it on their top 10 hikes in Utah. So I decided I wanted to do this tomorrow. I'll do it counter clockwise as well starting from Crystal Lake TH. I've only been up on the notch once but I don't remember any other alternate trails and CalTopo doesn't show any other than descending towards Lovenia. Is it marked? Is there a trail? I also notice that CalTopo doesn't show a trail again until the NW side of Clyde. Is there a lot of route finding in this hike? (Which I'm totally comfortable with.)

I don't think there is an official trail, but it is easy walking. I cut off at Twin and just walked overland from there. Having a GPS with topo map like the GPS Gaia app on your phone would be useful.

Thinking back to my Ibantik trip, I do have a fuzzy memory of a trail cutting off as it approaches the notch, but it is not signed or anything. I'd still just cut off at Twin though.
