Canyoneer dies after falling more than 150 feet at Zion National Park

A 40-year-old canyoneer died after accidentally falling 150 to 200 feet while at the Zion National Park in Utah.

The most likely scenario is that he fell on rappel and took the rope with him, stranding the others, but it's also possible they didn't have the skills to extract themselves.
