Canon has announced their Canon EOS M mirrorless camera. There will be two EF-M mount lenses available at launch. A 18-55mm and a 22mm prime. Also available at launch will be an adapter to allow mounting of EF and EF-S lenses. The camera has an APS-C sized 18mp sensor.
Looks like this might be a great lightweight/compact alternative to a DSLR and the fact that it can use EF and EF-S lenses will make it more appealing to all Canon DSLR owners that already have nice Canon glass. It is also capable of continuous AF while in video mode.
