CA statewide National Forest closure through 17 Sep

They closed the remainder of the CA National Forests, with the exception of Humboldt-Toiyabe (source: LA Times) for the next few weeks. I can't blame them.

Meanwhile in southern UT they lifted all fire restrictions, and now once again our neighborhood is waiting to find out whether we'll have to evac b/c of some idiot and their campfire. [sigh]

I got back from Whitney in the nick of time
