Thinking of using this road to get as close as possible to Cape Solitude in Grand Canyon...
I believe you can cut off about 10 miles each way hiking by doing this....
Anyone braved this road rcently and can give an update on condition....
Worse case i will do the long hike from Desert View, but if I can cut off significant milage why not....?
