backpacking trip suggestions

Pretty much anything along the Mirror Lake Highway is good overnighter territory. Busier, usually not as scenic as the longer hikes, but great for overnighters.

And of course look at the topo map in those areas. Lots of other lakes nearby most of them. Cuberant Basin or the Lofty Lake Loop is also an excellent short overnighter.

Naturalist Basin is also quite popular and easily done as an overnight.
