Arches National Park Night Closure

Looks like Arches will be closing the road through the park from 7pm-7am starting in March/April through November. The campground will also be closed during that time.

Just a heads up for anyone planning a trip there this year.

CONSTRUCTION NEWS RELEASE: Night Time Closure Planned During Major Road Construction Project in Arches National Park

We expect road construction to begin in March or April. Construction work will occur mostly at night. Park roads will close each night. Visitors must be out of the park by 7 pm. This closure is necessary to maximize visitor and contractor safety.

that is horrible, all the people taking sunset pics of the rock formations are going to go ballistic.
