I try to hike Arch Trail in the Babylon section of Red Cliffs every winter
This is by far one of my favorite trails in Southwest Utah. The trail is one of the better bang for your buck hikes as to the arch it is just around 2 miles and within the two miles you have a photogenic arch, hoodoos, red reefs, vistas of the Virgin River and the Virgin River Canyon, fins, maze, etc etc! Plus there is lots of exploration opportunities in addition to the arch (summit Sandstone Mountain, the maze of sandstone between the Reef and the Virgin River, etc)
This hike is full sun and gets really warm! It would be ranked easy but there is a large sand dune you have to deal with (going down is fun but up in the sun gets a bit strenuous)
I have included some pictures from previous trips to the area (my last trip down there was in the middle of the day so less than ideal for photography) including a summit to the top of sandstone mountain.
(Parking Area ^)
(Good Example of Honeycomb Weather)
(Also near the HC parking lot)
(^bottom of sandstone mountain, we picked our way up to the top using this drainage...some 3 scrambling but nothing too bad)
(once at the top the views are pretty impressive!)
(ignore the dust spot!)
