Green River State Park to Mineral Bottom

Nice report! The only spots we found at bow knot involved tying boats to trees towards the NE corner of the flat part of the "island" and climbing over the willows to trails.

    Altitude Sickness = Helicopter Ride

The key is to be flexible. Monitor your condition and if you show symptoms, don't go higher until they resolve.

    Labyrinth Canyon by Jetboat

Cool report! I've seen lots of jetboats on the river - mainly close to green river, but I'm surprised I've never seen pwc or jet skis on the river. Anyone know why?

Favorite Places To Explore While Floating Labyrinth

I've towed trailers down there. As long as you have a little ground clearance and it isn't raining, it is no sweat. It is pretty far to the ramp from the rim - maybe 5 miles? As a reference, some of the guide companies take small school busses down it. The biggest issue is actually having to...

Favorite Places To Explore While Floating Labyrinth

I would allow 4 hours for the round trip to mineral bottom. I think it is about the same as from ruby ranch. Favorite camping spot would be trin alcove. I need to search the map for the other one we really like.

    H.I.T.R. warning

So I'll apologize in advance to those RME guys who have heard my amazing flat story, but I once had 3 flats in one trip out on the Pony Express trail. This was on a Suburban with passenger tires and the PET is famous for tearing up tires. Anyway, the first one, I swapped in the spare. The...

Not getting any guesses? It is in Utah, obviously desert, within 3 hours of SLC. I stated above, it is historic.

    H.I.T.R. warning

I'll just add that In my experience and many flats, the one factor that will greatly reduce the number of flats under these conditions is reducing the speed of your travel. I generally love bombing down a road as fast as I can safely travel, but where there is sharp, large gravel or fresh...
