Nice report! The only spots we found at bow knot involved tying boats to trees towards the NE corner of the flat part of the "island" and climbing over the willows to trails.

The key is to be flexible. Monitor your condition and if you show symptoms, don't go higher until they resolve.

I assume you are referring to knowing while on the trail. At home, you can simply weigh the canister to see how full it is.

I would allow 4 hours for the round trip to mineral bottom. I think it is about the same as from ruby ranch. Favorite camping spot would be trin alcove. I need to search the map for the other one we really like.
