Thank you! I love the Bowman Lake views. We stayed at the backcountry campground one night and we got a bunch of rain. In the morning the mountains were all snow covered, it was awesome.
I'm thinking about staying at Dewey or Fossil lake for two days and trying to get to the top of Mt Dewey on the off day. Has anyone done this? It looks pretty do-able from the topos, but I'm far from an expert. Thanks!

a re-homing situation came to my wife’s attention, so we ended up with a 18 week old chocolate lab. Hawk (her chew toy) is not pleased, although they did have a nice time off leash yesterday.

So, this changed a bit. I convinced her to wait until summer, and I was able to line up a trip with some backcountry, some semi-backcountry, and some frontcountry and show her one of my favorite places - Glacier.
