Titans - thank you - have hiked along the creek also. Curious about a way down from the top of Waterpocket Canyon to the creek - would be a nice loop going up the slickrock expanse N of the creek and then down S to the creek - tried but got cliffed out at the top

how about Deer Creek? but it doesn't get that much hiking traffic, I think

if above not correct, on slickrock slopes by McGath Point? - probably W or SW slopes

Titans - my guess also - just S & on E side of 6043 on the 6043 - 6167 slickrock block E of Deer Creek - but what I think is 6642 aka Boulder BM (center & 20% from top) has slickrock to its right that doesn't fit with my recollection. So I think I am guessing wrong

thought this is what you meant - I call the area N of Boulder Creek & E of Deer Creek a "slickrock playground" so the spot is in this area - I'll give a more precise location tomorrow

to/from Cosmic....? heading CCW from Cosmic back to the Sheffield Road, there is a beautiful banded ledge bearing NNE on the east side of the "'3 amigos' to elevation 5730" ridge. Stone trolls can be pretty artistic
