I'll hit up some off roading trails in Moab this spring.
Capitol Reef for spring break with the fam
Kings Peak with a church group
And since it's been 4 years, I'm due to do the Highline Trail again, so I'll be doing that this summer, but this time I'll go west to east...very excited to do that...
I didn't list my plans, but here's what I did:
Doll House in March
Needles/Devils Kitchen in April
Queant Lake in early July
Bryce Canyon in mid July (finally did the Fairyland Loop)
White Clouds in late July
(I basically took the whole month of July off from work in 2023...it was amazing!)

Breakfast- oatmeal packet (peaches and cream!) and a Clif Bar
Lunch/snacks- Complete Cookie, trail mix, granola bar, peanut M&Ms, Smokehouse Almonds
Dinner- Peak Refuel.
And having high sodium when I'm a sweaty mess a lot of the day isn't too bad. My shirt...
Went up to Crystal Lake Trailhead and did a hike up to Island Lake. There are lots of large snow drifts all along the trail. It was doable, but not the most enjoyable hiking. Still worth the trip up there for the afternoon.
So...for Christmas we got one of those double high air mattresses, it has a built in pump. We've used it for visiting family/guests in our house. I'm thinking of using it camping in a couple weeks in San Rafael Swell and Maze/Dollhouse.
Have any of you used one of these beefy air mattresses in...

My most favorite story about Verkhoyansk: super pack of 400 wolves attacking the town and Russia put a bounty on wolves.

One of the coldest locations on Earth in Siberia is similar...look up Verkhoyansk on your weather app. It's a low valley where the cold air sinks and just sits there in unbelievably cold temps.
It's always entertaining to see how cold it is there in the winter.
