A couple of years ago the roof of Three Kivas Pueblo collapsed and it was closed. I recently heard that they had reconstructed it so I swung by last week to take a look. Took this shot while I was checking it out ~

The weather was great yesterday on Comb Ridge. Butler Wash has dried up from last weeks rain. A ruin I had been to before but never photographed.....I was only carrying my little point and shoot for this shot.....

Joe ~ yes, having a size 7 is somewhat of a problem since most shoe manufacturers limit their smallest size in men's to an 8. I know many men who wear size 7, but what they do is since many of the shoe manufacturers make some of their same boot models in both men and women's versions, they...
Being somewhat of a boot aficionado, I found this review quite refreshing...... and hilarious! One thing I might suggest that will help you get better grip and traction on rocks and trail is to 'sipe' the soles. Just like you do on tires. I do it to most of my hiking boots when the soles...
Was a lot of fun reading this trip report Noel...... Thanks for taking the time for putting it together and posting it on here. Was very interesting indeed. Was also glad to see you didn't encounter a Taipan on this trip.......seems like you have been 'dawgged' by serpents in your wanderings lately.

The first one is a two headed pictograph........I sort of...
Hey Donna ~ glad you found the forum here. Great group of folks on this forum.....you will love it. Looking forward to seeing you and Oscar again... this time in Moab this fall ~ RDD
Along with the search for Ancient Steps Ruin.....I was also searching for a rumored Wetherill inscription in the land of old cowboy camps and cave dwellers. Though I did find what might be a Wetherill inscription at this two story dwelling.....it is unsubstantiated as to being authentic......
I was anxious to see if you would find this one Randy. I am glad that you did. Heck....half the fun is the search in itself. I am sure for some....their search is now beginning ........
