The campground is great. They have 3 walk in tent sites that are incredible.

I always camp at Muely point at the top of the Moki dug way the day I drive down and then get permits in the morning. Muley point has one Of the best views in the West.

In your" lame "report you may connect a dot for someone or motivate them to visit a place. I say go for it!

If your going up the main canyon there is a granary on the right hand side. I thinks it's just past weeping rock. You can see it from the road.

I was at Kiva Koffee House when I met on of the crew members of this show. He said they dropped him in the Circle Cliffs but the shelter his friends were watching him in was just down stream of the Hwy 12 bridge.

Migrated here? Personally, I like the looks and feel of Backcountry a bit more. I still enjoy the the site.

Chestler park is amazing but the real gem of the needles is salt creek canyon. Plenty of spring water, ruins, and some amazing rock art. The "American Man" painting is something to see.

Yes I did the hike in 8 hours but I never stopped. I have been to the area a few times and just had enough time for quick dose of it for this trip. 2 to 3 days is about perfect.

I know there is a poison ivy lotion that helps prevent any problems. Check Walgreens. You can travel in the stream but you might have to swim some. Also, It seems to be concentrated at the upper parts of DH. I went right through it and only got a small patch on my arm. I think the frequent...
