WOW! Everyone's photos are amazing. I am aspiring to get better but lack some of the tools to do it with; mainly a new lens. But thanks to both ibenick and summit for leading me in the right direction with basic knowledge, I've been enjoying this more and more. Here's something I took this past weekend, up on Williams Peak while hanging on the side of a snowy ledge. The ridge closest to the photo is Sunlight Ski area, background is Mt. Sopris with Capitol Peak behind it.

Rubber boots are must unless you just want to skirt around the edges.
Im over due for a Stansbury sunset, if its looking good I'm down to head out there or maybe Burmester.

and I still want to hit lakeside before the bugs are back..

I would be up for shooting around Stansbury, too. I've never been down that way, all my GSL experience is around Antelope Island.

Sunset is at 6:05 on Friday and I couldn't get out there until 5-5:30 so I think I'll have to pass. Seriously considering camping out there on Saturday night though if anyone is interested.
