Stupidity abounds

Not only were they stupid enough to do it, but they carved their initials into the rock. Nothing like identifying yourself when you do something breathtakingly stupid.

The head of the Colorado Plateau Arch. Alliance (a man who literally wrote the book on Nine Mile) and the spokesperson for a state department (DEQ) were the witnesses/reporting parties. BLM told me today they've made contact with the two suspected vandals. I know more than I can say but it seems pretty clear a resolution is pending.

Seems real light. Maybe they should have tacked on 100 hours of community service. It just seems like less than a slap on the wrist. The parents feel it more than the kids.
