Sad news about Jack Dykinga

Just saw this on the Outdoor Photographer website:

I hope he pulls through, but a double lung transplant does not have good odds. Jack Dykinga is one of the great masters. @Miss Buffalo , I know you were thinking about taking a workshop with him as he's your idol. If he has another one I'd pay whatever it costs to shoot with him. Getting to know my idol, David Muench, and shoot with him was a lifetime experience.
 
yeah, I read about it @Laura and I hope he will recover from it fast. It was him and his great Arizona landscapes that let me pick up my first camera in 2008 and I still hope I will get a chance to join a workshop with him.
 
Red this today - really sad news. In the 1990ies I had contact with Jack. He produced a larger than usual exposure of his Organ Pipe picture for us. We still have it in our house.

My best wishes for recovery.
 
He's leading a workshop this year in Utah (I think it's around Boulder Mountain) so looks like he's still got some more shutter clicks in him!
